The Improv Gymnasium 2020 is a Zoom workout series for improvisers of all levels and backgrounds.
Our participants are a curated mix of beginning, intermediate, and experienced improvisers, all learning from each others’ work with familiar and new exercises, techniques, and theories.
This gym is aimed at creating fun, engaging improvisational scenes most directly associated with longform comedic improvisation, but our techniques are applicable across the spectrum.
In lieu of fees we request you donate what you can to an organization in support of BIPOC.
Proposed schedule is subject to adjustment based on participants’ responses.
Enrollment is limited.  Additional Gymnasia will be added if interest warrants.
Each workshop will be followed by a more casual, optional “cocktail hour” in which philosophies adjacent to our specific techniques might be discussed.
