This ripe, ribald parody of reality television puts a group of eager contestants in the middle of the War in Vietnam, where they vie for a $1 million grand prize, if they survive.
The show has received a variety of readings by different companies and one full production (with two extensions) in New York City.
The script has been licensed by three completely unrelated theater companies, all from Austin Texas. Each of which needed to cancel or postpone production for unrelated reasons. While this isn’t a ‘credit’ for the script, I find it interesting enough to share publicly.
Survivor: Vietnam! was published in the popular anthology Plays and Playwrights 2004,
